JOB SUMMARY

• We are seeking a highly skilled Golang Developer with strong experience building payment processing, merchant network, transaction, and financial technology platforms. 
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Go/Golang, distributed systems, microservices, APIs, and payment network technologies.
• Candidates with experience in Network Tokenization, payment cryptogram generation/validation, Agentic Commerce, or Stablecoin-based payment solutions are strongly preferred.
• Experience working for or delivering payment technology solutions to organizations such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Fiserv, Discover, Stripe, or Adyen will be highly valued.
• Network tokenization and cryptogram experience is particularly relevant because network tokens replace sensitive card credentials in payment flows, while transaction cryptograms provide token-validation information during authorization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-performance Golang services supporting merchant payment platforms.
• Build scalable microservices supporting payment authorization, transaction processing, tokenization, and merchant network capabilities.
• Develop secure REST and gRPC APIs for internal and external payment services.
• Implement high-throughput, low-latency transaction processing services.
• Develop services supporting network-token payment workflows.
• Implement cryptogram generation, validation, and transaction-security workflows where applicable.
• Integrate payment services with external payment networks, processors, gateways, and merchant platforms.
• Develop asynchronous processing using Kafka, messaging queues, or event-driven architecture.
• Implement idempotency, retry, timeout, circuit-breaker, and transaction-reconciliation patterns.
• Design services capable of handling high transaction volumes with strict availability and latency requirements.
• Implement comprehensive logging, monitoring, metrics, and distributed tracing.
• Work closely with architects and payment-domain SMEs to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews.
• Develop unit, integration, contract, and performance tests.
• Troubleshoot production payment issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development and continuous delivery.
